Zenneciler (Fripperies Woman’s Garments) and Kuyumcular (Jewelers). The main streets were named the streets of the Tent - Makers (Çadircilar), Quilt - Makers (Yorgancilar), Fez - Makers (Fesciler), Fur Hat - Makers (Kalpakcilar), Pouch - Makers (Keseciler), Cap - Makers (Takkeciler), and Nuruosmaniye.

Sheila couldn't resist a good bargain. Just down the street from our hotel in Istanbul, she was bargaining for some pillow covers. Yes she did get them.
All around Istanbul were vendors selling bread sticks. These were great for a quick snack. The kids were selling the bread sticks just outside the entrance to the Topkapi Palace grounds.
